The Bloomberg lobby display, known as "The Link Display" is a high-level marketing tool that creates branded experiences for visitors and employees. It has become synonymous with the Bloomberg building, as it regularly seen as the backdrop for Bloomberg PR stories and Bloomberg news. Spanning 150 feet, it encircles the central artery of Bloomberg's headquarters in New York City. It is a single canvas comprised of six LED strips that are seamlessly integrated with the architecture.
The content features real-time Bloomberg news and market information. The colors and animations change based on the data, resulting in content that continually looks new. Special campaign promotions and other event-specific content are added to and removed from the playlist as necessary.
I was the creative director, and primary designer and developer of this unique marketing tool for more than a decade. I developed and implemented the content strategy, liaised with data teams, and managed vendors. I was responsible for all content seen on the displays, using my management, video production and content creation skills.
